18 for our annual Holiday Party at the UNO Community Center. We played a variety of party and activity games followed by Table Leader awards and prize table selections – all received 5 or more games from our popular prize table. Thanks to all who donated games as well as to Rob for providing refreshments via crockpot.
Our final session of 2024 (Christmas and New Year’s Day both fall on Wednesdays this year – so no Gamenites) will be on December 18 – both a request night and an evening to honor games that BGG users have rated 8.0+. Expect to play from among new arrivals – Middle Ages, Rebirth, Intarsia and more and 8.0+ games – Harmonies, Heat: Pedal to the Metal, Castles of Burgundy, Terraforming Mars and more.
Our January 8 session will feature games our members received (or bought for themselves) for the holidays (as well as more 8.0+ games) with Sean managing the session. Our January 15 session will feature games received from our holiday prize table.

Just One (led by K-ban) 10 gamers guessing 10 of the 13 possible cards in our favorite cooperative group game.
HITSTER (led by K-ban) 2 teams of 4 – combining scanning 2D barcodes, a phone app, bluetooth speaker and Spotify to construct a 10 song timeline.
Activity Games
Tiny Laser Heist (led by Sean) 2024 dexterity game that has to be seen to be appreciated – especially the vault and tiny hands.
Indoor Cornhole (led by Tim) bean bag tossing
Bamboleo (led by K-ban) 1996 balancing game that takes longer to set up than to play.
Chicken vs Hot Dog (led by Tim) 2022 silly team-based dexterity game.
Crokinole (led by Tony/Ethan) our favorite flicking game
